Introducing the 2013 Books About Books Challenge!
I wanted to come up with a good challenge to host in 2013, but I wasn’t sufficiently inspired until late January. I finished Start Here: Read Your Way Into 25 Amazing Authors and realized that I love reading about…well, reading. I enjoy essays on authors and literature. I have a few books on my shelves that I haven’t picked up yet, and I really should. In addition, I have tons of books about writing books that I really need to divide and conquer (I think my desk shelf would really appreciate it). And don’t think fiction will be left out – just read the details below!
Reading Challenge Details
- The challenge will run from January 1st, 2013 – December 31st, 2013
- Sign up throughout the year – no cut-offs here (Obligatory: I am not a Never Nude, although there are dozens of them! Dozens!)

I probably shouldn’t enter any more challenges, but I absolutely love this one! And since you so kindly signed up for my Banned Books Challenge, I’m totally in 🙂 I’ll link-up my sign up post some time next week!

I have no business taking on yet another 2013 reading challenge, but this one sounds so cool and I love books about books! (I call them ‘librariana” on my GoodReads shelf. I will post about this on my blog and come back later to link. Great challenge, thanks for hosting!

A splendid idea! I’ve hoped that someone would create a challenge like this.
I normally restrain from taking up too many challenges at a time. But I can’t possibly resist this one! This year I decided to start reading non-fiction and I’ve found that the ones I enjoy the most are the ones categorised as “books about books”.
I’ll sign up for the novella level (11-15) books. I suppose I’m biting off more than I can chew, but I’ve never liked short stories (level), so I’m going to try my best to read about 11 books.
I don’t have a blog, so I’ve linked up to my goodreads shelf.
P.S. Reposting because I forgot to post using my GR link.

This is one of my favorite categories of books. Thanks for creating a challenge about it! I’m looking forward to finding more books about books to complete the Novella level – or beyond…Who knows?
