I participated in A Winter’s Respite Read-a-Thon last year and enjoyed it! It’s nice to have a solid week of reading and see an active part of the book blogging community coming together. This read-a-thon is hosted by Seasons of Reading, a blog hosted by The True Book Addict. The purpose is “a week of relaxed reading during which we can personally challenge ourselves and whittle away those ever looming TBR piles/shelves/libraries.”
So, what am I reading this week?
- Finishing up Start Here: Read Your Way Into 25 Amazing Authors, a great Book Riot production featuring some of my favorite new authors writing about some of my all-time favorite authors (I’ll let that sink in) – highly recommended!
- Starting Anna Karenina, a classic I want to read before seeing the latest adaptation (and one of the classics for January/February!)
- Toying with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, a book that’s been sitting on my Kindle for far too long
- Listening to The Cutting Season, my latest Audible pick
